What is the Gizmo5 network?
Solution
The Gizmo5 network is a
VoIP
network. Anyone that has a Gizmo5 account sends and receives calls on the Gizmo5 network.
Calls between 2 Gizmo5 accounts are completely free, and they stay on the Gizmo5 Network. However, many calls pass between the Gizmo5 Network, and the
many networks
that it is connected to, such as university campus networks, other VoIP networks, and of course the Plain Old Telephone System (POTS).Â
The Gizmo5 network receives calls from the POTS whenever someone uses a regular telephone to call a Gizmo5

number. The Gizmo5 network sends calls to the POTS whenever a Gizmo5 account uses Gizmo5
Call Out
to call a regular telephone.
